What can I say about this place? First there was the drive from Avignon on super highways, with tolls that I was never sure I would have the change for, but I found Cagnes sur Mer without trouble. I had this card from a place my parents had stayed during the war but had no idea how to find it. So I followed signs for Haute de Cagnes which I read was a Medieval citadel, so I went there. Up, up winding streets, near the top I parked in front of a vine covered place, and rang the bell. This is where I stayed and as it turned out only 5 doors from where my parents had stayed. The next day I walked along the Mediterranean Sea. The views are from my balcony at Les terrasses du Soleil, I recommend it.
